Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force seized 1,620 Yaba tablets

GUWAHATI: Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force seized 1,620 Yaba tablets on September 12, from bordering area of village Jordanga Part-II under South Salamara district. Acting on a tip off, the BSF troops of Border Out Post (BOP) Jordanga of 06 Bn conducted a special operation in general area of village Jordanga Part-II and recovered a packet wrapped with plastic containing 1,620 Yaba tablets. The consignment was being "smuggled from India to Bangladesh, stated a release. The seized Yaba tablets have been deposited to PS Mankachar.
