Two books of writer Ganesh Bhuyan released in Lakhimpur

LAKHIMPUR: Two books of writer Ganesh Bhuyan was released in Lakhimpur on Monday. On this occasion, a ceremonial programme was organized at Uttar Lakhimpur Xahitya Xabha Bhawan under the management of poet Pankaj Sabhapandit. It commenced with the lighting of the lamp by social worker Babul Borah. It was chaired by writer-teacher Sanjib Upadhyay. One book named Sandhiyar Samiran was released by Lakhimpur MLA Manab Deka, while the other book named Bigyan, Sankardev Aru Samakalin Samaj was released by writer Dipak Hazarika.

Writer Narayan Baruah made an analytical lecture on Sandhiyar Samiran while Bharat Rajkhowa presented a critical lecture on the other book. Baishali Hazarika and Kalpana Hazarika presented songs in the programme wherein a host of prominent personalities of North Lakhimpur were present.
