Two cattle thieves nabbed with eight cows in Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON: Two cattle thieves along with eight cows were nabbed by people of Bongaigaon on Saturday.

The thieves have been identified as Moidul Ali (32) and Mama Sadu (60). As per sources, Moinul Ali, resident of Lakhipur area of Goalpara district, had stolen nine cows and brought them to Salbari Kadamtali area of Bongaigaon.

"When local people came to know about that, they nabbed the thief and handed him over to the police. After Moidul's interrogation, police nabbed another thief named Mama Sadu from Dhaligaon," said sources.
