Two farmers injured in leopard attack in Nagaon

NAGAON: Narsingh Orang and Denial Horo of Bordal Mikirgaon under Samaguri PS were seriously injured in an attack by a wild leopard coming from the nearby jungle on Thursday when they were harvesting their paddy in a crop field, sources said. Meanwhile, the injured farmers were immediately admitted in Nagaon BP Civil Hospital for treatment, sources said, adding that the condition of the victims was stable. Speaking to this correspondent here, Range officer of Salna forest range, Nepal Mandal said that the leopard suddenly came from the nearby forest and attacked on their hands as well as feet and then fled from the scene.
