Two NDFB Militants Killed at Gossaigaon, Kokrajhar

Two NDFB militants were killed during a cross-firing at Gossaigaon in Kokrajhar district of Assam on 31^st October 2019.

In the Indo-Bhutan border, the encounter took place between a group of NDFB militants and a Gossaigaon police party.

As per reports, the team launched the operation at around 7 pm. During the operation, the police team confronted two cadres who were killed following a massive gun-battle

The killed militants were not identified yet. Besides, mobile phones and SIM cards police recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from the spot.

A search operation is on in the Indo-Bhutan border area against the underground outfit.
