Two thieves apprehended in Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: A police team headed by Bhaskar Jyoti Saikia, officer-in-charge of Itakhola PS managed to apprehend two goat thieves along with 23 stolen goats on Monday from the adjoining area of Itakhola. According to information, the police team who came out for regular patrolling stopped a vehicle bearing registration number AS 12 BC 8902 for courtesy search. But surprisingly, 23 goats were found laden on the vehicle. While the police team interrogated the driver and his partner, they failed to produce required documents. The police team later took Shahidur Haque and Biswajit Bora in custody and seized the vehicle.
