Udalguri Administration directed Screening test for railway passengers

TANGLA: The Udalguri district administration directed the health department to take up screening test of each and every railway passenger at Udalguri railway station before they exit. Accordingly, a team of health department carried out the instruction on Tuesday at Udalguri railway station and screened all the passengers who arrived at the station. One of the medical staff attending the screening duty in Udalguri district informed this correspondent that the test would continue at the station until further order.

PATHSALA: Munindra Sarma, Deputy Commissioner of Barpeta, on Wednesday held meeting with the workers of 108 service and with the owners of nursing homes and ordered them to keep an extra isolated ward ready for the treatment of corona-affected people.
