Udalguri DC Dilip Kumar Das Urges Security Agencies to Ensure Peaceful Puja

KALAIGAON: Dilip Kumar Das, Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri district, organized an urgent meeting on District-level Coordination Committee (DLCC) under Unified Command Structure on Monday. It was presided over by DC Das. Addressing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner urged all the security agencies to take preventive precautionary measures for smooth and peaceful celebration of Durga Puja as well as to ensure the security of the public. Rajveer Singh, Superintendent of Police of Udalguri, Lt. Col. Nitin Rana, second-in-command of 14 Garhwal Rifles, DN Hazarika, SDO (Civil) of Bhergaon subdivision, Biraj Boruah, Circle Officer of Kalaigaon revenue circle, Rittutam Bora, Circle Officer of Harisinga and Khoirabari revenue circle and several senior officers of SSB and CRPF along with intelligence group of Udalguri took part in the meeting.
