GUWAHATI: Under Dhanantari Seva, people can dial in at 104 for medicines unavailable in locality. Health officials or Asha workers will then deliver the medicines to people. This is a new initiative started by the state, informed Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Sarma also said that the state govt. has disbursed Rs 30 cr in providing one time financial assistance to more than 1.5 lakh people stranded outside Assam due to lockdown. More forms are being scrutinised, he informed.
