Unidentified body recovered from a drain in Borjuri Sector under Bokakhat Police Station

Numaligarh: A body was recovered from a drain in Borjuri Sector of Methoni Tea Estate under Bokakhat Police Station. On Sunday morning, local people saw the body and informed the police. A team of Bokakhat Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Later, the body was sent to the hospital for an autopsy. According to police, it might be a case of car lifting and murder as the deceased is believed to be a driver. Preliminary investigation revealed that there were severe injury marks on the head and face of the deceased. The exact cause of death and identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
