Union Home Minister Amit Shah to lay foundation stone of Tamulpur Medical College on July 25

KOKRAJHAR: In yet another big boost to the health sector of BTC, a new medical college is coming up at Tamulpur in Baksa district as the foundation stone will be laid on July 25.

As per sources from BTC Secretariat, Tamulpur Medical College and Cancer Hospital, the second medical college in BTC region will soon become a reality, as part of implementation of MoS of BTR Accord signed on January 27, 2020.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will ceremonially lay the foundation stone of Tamulpur Medical College and Cancer Hospital through video conferencing from Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma and Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of BTC, on July 25. The inaugural function will be held at Kachubari, Tamulpur in Baksa district.
