Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Minister of AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal visits Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Minister of AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal visited Jamugurihat on Friday night and inspected the ongoing construction works of the permanent cultural complex of Barechahar Bhaona Committee. It is to be mentioned here that the construction work of the cultural complex of the historic Barechahar Bhaona Committee is going on. The State government has allocated Rupees 26 crore for the construction work. The cultural complex covers an area of 120 bighas of land. Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika accompanied the Union Minister during his visit. It is also worth mentioning that this year the Barechahar Bhaona is scheduled to be held on March 6, 7, 8 and 9 with a four-day programme.
