United Bank of India Organized Customer Outreach Initiative Campaign in Dhubri

GUWAHATI: United Bank of India organized a Customer Outreach Initiative (COI) in Dhubri on Thursday where 20 banks along with NIT1 Aayog, Atyati and NABARD participated, stated a press release.

Dhubri District Development Commissioner Banashree Nath inaugurated the initiative. In her inaugural speech, Nath expressed the need of such initiatives where banking requirements are provided under one roof by all the banks. General Manager of United Bank of India Rajesh Kumar Arora and DGM & CRM,UB1 Guwahati Region Prabir Kumar Tah and Zila Parishad CEO Purahi Konwar also participated in the event. Arora & Tah dwelled on the issues related to the event. The response of the public was also positive with around 955 customers visited their respective bank stalls. Whereas 897 borrowers has been given sanction of loans amounting to Rs.15.71 crores by all the participating banks. The sanction letters were handed over to the borrowers present at the venue by the distinguished guests. Success stories of existing borrowers of SVAYEM, MUDRA, SHG, KCC, Stand Up India were also shared.
