United Boro People's Organization congratulates Sarbananda Sonowal

LAKHIMPUR: Various organizations have extended warm greetings to Sarbananda Sonowal after he was inducted as the Cabinet Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Minister of AYUSH as Prime Minister Narendra Modi effected a major overhaul of the Union Cabinet on Wednesday.

Congratulating him, United Boro People's Organization (UBPO) president Manoranjan Basumatari and general secretary Pitambar Brahma said, "Sarbananda Sonowal, who successfully completed five years as the Chief Minister of Assam and also carried out his duty sincerely as Union Minister earlier, would be potent enough to serve the nation well and to ensure development of the entire north-eastern region as well as Assam as a Union Cabinet Minister."

Similarly, Ganatantric Nagarik Surakshya Mancha president Sushil Basumatari and general secretary Tolan Sonowal also congratulated the former Chief Minister of Assam.
