Unlock phase starts in Golaghat; Shops, business establishments opens

GOLAGHAT: Unlock phase started in Golaghat on Monday after a lockdown period of about 10 days. Shops, business establishments and market areas were opened but with certain conditions. As per Golaghat Municipal Board order, shops and business establishments were opened following the A, B, C pattern. Shops and business establishments which have been marked under category A were allowed to open today. The Magistrate and Executive Officer of Golaghat Municipal Board reviewed the situation at Bata Point in the heart of the town and the police and transport department officials imposed fine on some people for not wearing masks while coming out to the market and also not wearing helmets while riding two wheelers. The officials asked the people to maintain social distancing.
