KOKRAJHAR: The United People's Party Liberal (UPPL) on Thursday said that the party had filed criminal defamation case against the president of the Bodoland People's Front (BPF), Hagrama Mohilary, IT cell, Facebook and the YouTube channel for their derogatory remarks against the president of UPPL, Promod Boro at the CJM, Kokrajhar recently vide case No CR-34/2020, under section 120 B/500, IPC.

Talking to mediapersons, the secretary-cum-spokesperson of the UPPL, Wilson Hasda said the Pramod Boro, UPPL chief, had filed criminal defamation case against Hagrama Mohilary and its IT cell managed by BPF and supporters for subsequent derogatory remarks against Promod Boro and for dissemination of such objectionable remarks by the host social networking sites such as Facebook and YouTube.
