Uruka Bhelaghar Utsav organized by Jeeban Jeuti Krishak Sangha

MORIGAON: People have geared up to celebrate Magh Bihu with the fun fare in Assam. Jeeban Jeuti Krishak Sangha, a farmers’ organization, organized a feast named ‘Uruka Bhelaghar Utsav’ on the bank of Charon Beel on Thursday. The day-long programme started with an inaugural speech by Tulsi Deka, chief co-ordinator, Jeeban Jeuti Krishak Sangha. Thereafter, Parag Mahanta, Lecturer of the Department of Economics, Morigaon College, and Achuit Kr. Das, Lecturer of the Department of Political Science, Morigaon College, spoke in the meeting.

Besides, the organization provided the best farmer award to three farmers in the programme.
