Utkal Raktavir Samman, 2020 awarded to Dhubri NGO 'The Humanity'

DHUBRI: Utkal Raktavir Samman 2020 was conferred to The Humanity, an NGO rendering services in the field of blood donation in Dhubri district in particular and other parts of Assam, by Samarpan National Blood Donors Conclave 2020 at Gopabandhu Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya, Puri, Odisha recently.

Utkal Raktavir Samman 2020 was given away by Governor Prof.Ganeshi Lal Mathur while social worker Padma Shri Devarapalli Prakash Rao, Minister of State ( Independent Charge) Tusharkanti Behera (Minister of State Independent), a legislator of Puri, Jayant Kumar Sarangi and many officials of government attended the award function.

This programme was organized under the auspices of Samarpana and Odisha Blood Donor Core Group.

Meanwhile, the members of Humanity and Muhurta organized voluntary blood donation camp along with shradhanjali programme for martyrs of the Pulwama terror attack, at the Dhubri Gurdwara premises. Many dedicated persons paid tribute to the Pulwama martyrs. Dhubri Additional Deputy Commissioner Animesh Talukdar, Assistant Commissioner, Partha Pratim Barman, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Head quarter) Trinayan Bhuyan, and other dignitaries were present at the function.
