Vigilance Awareness Week, 2019 concludes at Bongaigaon Refinery

Bongaigaon: The week-long observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, 2019 with the theme “Integrity- A Way of Life” at Bongaigaon Refinery started from October 28. It concluded on Saturday with the valedictory function held at RCCC in presence of a large gathering.

Debajit Gogoi, CGM (Technical), chaired the function and Sudhakar Singh, Chirang Superintendent of Police grace the occasion as guest speaker.

Addressing the gathering, Sudhakar Singh said that deep-rooted corruption could not be eradicated in a short time and completely but it could be minimized with the concerted effort of everyone. He said that system improvement on continuous and sustainable basis was very important to control corruption and vigilance was the responsibility of everyone.

Speaking on the occasion, Debajit Gogoi , CGM (Technical), explained beautifully the importance of integrity and how as employees people should be vigilant in their day- to-day duty.

A special issue of in-house magazine Varnali was released on the occasion. Prizes were distributed to the winners for various competitions organized during the Vigilance Awareness Week, 2019.
