Vigilance Awareness Week concludes at Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited

DIBRUGARH: Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW), observed here in Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) from October 27, concluded successfully on Monday.

The programme was inaugurated by administering Integrity Pledge to all employees in presence of managing director ReepHazarika at a function held at the Administrative Building, BCPL, on October 27.

Various activities were organized during the week in order to affirm BCPL's commitment to promotion of integrity and goodness in public life through citizen participation. The activities included classroom programme, online quiz competition, essay writing and slogan competition on the theme 'Satark Bharat, Samriddha Bharat (Vigilant India, Prosperous India)' for employees of the company and contract workers.

The closing ceremony of VAW 2020 was organized on Monday in the Administrative Building in which prizes were distributed to the winners. While addressing the employees, GM (HR), Ashit Das in his inaugural address cited examples of how India was fighting corruption and narrated the analogy of Transparency International (TI) and India's rank in corruption index thereof. Director (Finance), Pruthiviraj Das and Chief Operating Officer Rakesh Kumar Singh deliberated upon the subject of corruption and role of vigilance. Other senior officials were also present in the closing ceremony.
