Vigilance Awareness Week observed at NTPC Bongaigaon

Bongaigaon: The Vigilance Awareness Week which started off on October 28 is being observed at NTPC Bongaigaon with a host of varied activities. ED NTPC Bongaigaon Chandan Chakraborty along with the employees undertook the Integrity Pledge on October 28. The theme for this year is Integrity-A Way of Life and to commemorate it a walkathon comprising of employees, family members, CISF as well as school children was organized.

Various competitions such as speech competition, essay competition, skit competition were conducted in Notre Dame School, Salakati Junior College, and ITI Salakati to create awareness among the students. A gram sabha to sensitize the villagers the need to remain vigilant was organized at Bamunigaon on October 30. ED Chandan Chakraborty addressed the villagers and spoke about the need to inculcate integrity in their daily life. GM(FM) T Ravinder, GM(O&M) Rakesh Kumar, GM (Maint) Ramakant Panda, AGM(HR) Anil Chawla and DGM (Vigilance) Madhusudan Pramanick was also present on the occasion.

On Thursday, a walkathon to commemorate Rashtriya Ekta Divas was organized at NTPC Bongaigaon in which all employees, family members as well as school children and CISF wholeheartedly participated, stated a press release.
