DIBRUGARH: Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) is observed annually, to create awareness in the minds of every individual about leading a life with absolute integrity and in that process, emphasize the need to combat corruption in public life. Commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Indian Bank, Dibrugarh Zone, organized a Walkathon from Hotel Rajawas, Marwaripatty to Indian Bank Zonal Office, Dibrugarh at 6:00am with placards and banners displaying the slogans "Corruption free India for a developed Nation".

Subhash Kumar (AGM) of Indian Bank, Dibrugarh along with the staff members percolated the message of honesty and întegrity to the minds of the citizens of Dibrugarh. The bank is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from October 31 to November 6 which includes programmes to create awareness among staff as well as customers.
