TANGLA: An awareness programme on use of online e-resources was held on Wednesday at Udalguri College which was organized by the Central Library and ICT Cell of Udalguri College in association with Assam College Librarians' Association (ACLA). The thought-provoking webinar held through Zoom App was inaugurated by Dr. Luke Daimari, Principal of Udalguri College, and elaborated by convenor of ICT Cell, Udalguri College, Rupam Dutta. The entire webinar was coordinated by librarian Ramani Haloi.

Head of the Department of Library and Information Science of Gauhati University, Prof. Sanjay Kr. Singh, librarian of KC Das Commerce College, Guwahati and general secretary of ACLA, Dr. Prashanta Kr. Deka, along with other dignitaries spoke at length about the prospects of online e-resources in the present day context and its intimate relationship with the learning system, particularly in the current period of pandemic.

Udalguri College also organized an exclusive virtual power webinar on job skills and trends in the post-COVID scenario recently. The webinar was basically aimed for the students to give them information regarding skills and employability in the days to come post COVID-19. The event was attended as resource persons by Collin Bruno from Talent Acquisition Group, HCL Technologies; J Sri Thejaswi from Rajdeep Information Technology (P) Ltd, and senior manager of ICT Academy, Narendra Kumar while Deep Shekhar Sapkota was the moderator in the webinar.
