Will never join Bharatiya Janata Party: Former PWD Minister Ajanta Neog

GOLAGHAT: Former PWD minister and present president of Golaghat District Congress Committee, Ajanta Neog on Tuesday cleared her stand about joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

In a press statement, former minister Ajanta Neog said that she would never join the BJP. She further said that the news about her joining the BJP was false and baseless. It was a conspiracy against her ahead of the 2021 election.

Some media had reported about Ajanta Neog and some other senior Congress leaders joining the BJP ahead of the Assembly election. Dismissing the speculations about her joining the BJP, Neog appealed to people not to believe in rumours.
