Woman dies under mysterious circumstances, created sensation in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: Death of a woman under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday night created sensation in Tinsukia. The husband of the woman, Vivek Garodia, a resident of Banowari Colony Parbotia and owner of Durga Opticals, claimed that his wife Chitra (30), mother of an eight-year old son, was found lying unconscious near the dining table. Vivek, instead of calling a local doctor, called his medico brother from Margherita and took her to Tinsukia Civil Hospital where the doctor declared her brought dead.

The family members were not informed about the death and came to know about it from other relatives in the morning. They claimed that Vivek used to torture his wife and had an illicit relationship with a sales girl. In her last WhatsApp message to her sister at 12.40 am, Chitra stated that Vivek should be punished. Even her mother who arrived from Arunachal Pradesh asserted that Vivek was responsible for her daughter's death.
