Women arrested with heroine in Mangaldai

MANGALDAI: Acting on a tip off, a team of Darrang Police led by Deputy Superintendent of Police (HQ) Pranjal Bora and Officer in charge of Mangaldai Police Station Inspector Mosco Saikia on Saturday afternoon recovered four grams of heroine, two used syringes, two mobile phones and Rs. 7400.00. Malensha Nessa wife of Majibar Rahman of village Gadhowa was arrested under the provision of NDPS Act. The recovery has been made following the initiative of Superintendent of Police Er Sushanta Biswa Sarma. The arrested accused women has reportedly been acting as a drug peddler.
