Workshop for recruitment of Agniveers organized at Nagaon

NAGAON: The 8 Assam Battalion of NCC under the guidance of Tezpur Group organized a three-day workshop for recruitment of the proposed agniveers in Indian Army and Navy under Agnipath scheme at Nagaon police reserve colony field. The workshop concluded on Saturday. A total of 107 NCC cadets from the battalion participated in the workshop.

During the first day of the workshop, the desired candidates for the recruitment of agniveers conducted various strengthening exercises. They were taught how to carry out online registration.

Besides, the intended candidates were also given tips to face medical screening and other tests on current affairs by the experts from the battalion. Apart from this, the experts from 8 Assam Battalion, NCC also conducted the mock written test among the participants during the workshop and also dispelled the ongoing confusion as well as myths about the Agnipath scheme across the country.
