DEMOW: World Anaesthesia Day was observed in Demow Model Hospital premises on Friday by following all COVID protocol. On the occasion of World Anaesthesia Day, a snake bite modern treatment ward was inaugurated by Dr.Uday Rajkonwar, District Health Officer, in Demow Model Hospital. Dr Dandeswar Deori, Superintendent of Demow Model Hospital, presided over the meeting.
Around 351 snake bite patients were treated in Demow Community Health Centre and for the first time a snake bite ward was inaugurated at a rural Community Health Centre, said Dr Surajit Giri. In the programme, all the doctors, nurses and health staff of Demow Model Hospital were present.
