Youth club development convention held at Rongsai Netaji LP School in Goalpara

Goalpara: A block-level youth club development convention was held at Rongsai Netaji LP School on Saturday. The programme was organized by Swaraj Welfare Foundation and sponsored by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS).

The youth club development programme aims at forming new clubs and strengthening the existing network of new clubs with a representation of all classes of the society. The platform will also be used for introducing and highlighting issues of youths.

On Saturday, two resource persons, Sanjib Iswary, district coordinator of empowerment of adolescent and ending child marriage, and Subhash Basumatary, district programme leader of Piramal Foundation under NITI Ayog, focused elaborately on the topic 'Role of youth to ensure literacy in the community'. Nitairam Rabha, secretary of Singstar Club, and Abdul Mozid, secretary of the Swaraj Welfare Foundation, also spoke on the occasion.
