Youth dies in road mishap near Demow

DEMOW: A road accident took place in Jhallong near Demow under Moran Police Station at NH-37 Road on Tuesday where a youth died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Dilip Kumar.

According to sources, a Bolero pick-up (AS 02 BC 5210) which was coming from Sivasagar side and a Glamour motorcycle (AS O6 G 3912) which was coming from the opposite side, had a head-on collision in Jhallong due to which the motorcycle rider died on the spot. The Moran Police reached the accident spot and recovered the body and sent it for post mortem.
