Youth killed in a road mishap in Sonitpur district

BISWANATH CHARIALI: One Asik Ahmed (18), son of businessman Amser Ahmed of Chatiya centre under Chatiya Police Station in Biswanath district lost his life after his bike rammed into a tractor from behind on the NH-15 at Khanamukh in Sonitpur district on Sunday evening. The pillion rider Geetartha Handique, son of teacher Ananda Handique of Magurmara village of Chatiya has been seriously injured and was rushed to a hospital in Guwahati. According to reports, they were travelling to Balipara.
