Guwahati: 'Inglish Maker', a popular Youtuber hailing from the Northeastern state of Assam, has earned high praise after generating over Rs 1 lakh to combat the flood problem in Assam.

The popular YouTube state recently started a charity vlog on his channel on his YouTube Channel for the victims of Assam Floods during which he was able to collect a sum of Rs. 1 lakh.

Taking to Twitter, he announced that over Rs. 1 lakh had been raised for his channel, and added that the money will be used for those people who are affected by floods where the "government cannot able to reach."

Needless to say, Inglish Maker has earned plaudits from his fans as well as the general citizenry for his efforts to bring relief to the flood-affected persons from the remoter areas of Assam.

Notably, another YouTuber, Dimpu Baruah, had earned applause for a similar gesture earlier in the month when he too generated funds for the Assam flood victims.

Dimpu Baruah, the YouTube star renowned for his relatable videos centred around day-to-day activities and goings-on in the state has now become the latest online sensation to raise money for the Assam flood victims. Bora, beloved of the youngsters of the state, has been able to raise Rs. 43,000 during a YouTube live stream that he hosted on his wildly popular channel to raise money for the victims of the deluge.

After raising the aforesaid amount, Bora said that he intends to divide the same among 43 families. The YouTuber also said that he will also chip in with a few bucks of his own.

Ajey Nagar, the social media personality well-known for running the enormously popular YouTube channel 'Carryminati', raised over Rs 11 lakh for the flood victims of Assam and Bihar. Out of this amount, he has donated Rs 1 lakh from his own pocket.
