DIBRUGARH: Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, as a part of his earlier commitment to donate 100 ultra-modern beds equipped with all modern gadgets to the Pediatrics Department of Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH), handed over the first lot of 50 beds to AMCH on Thursday under the Yuvraj Singh Foundation through a video conference. State Health Minister

Keshab Mahanta also took part in the video conference. In the John Berry White conference hall in AMCH here, the president of AMC Management Committee , Dibrugarh MLA Prasanta Phukan, Superintendent of AMC, Dr Prasanta Dihingia, and Dr Julee Rabha received all beds and other equipment on line and extended their heartfelt thanks to Yuvraj Singh, his family and other members of Yuvraj Singh Foundation for such humane work. The Yuvraj Singh Foundation also donated 50 similar beds to Gauhati Medical College and Shillong Medical College.
