MIAO: The Miao Battalion of Assam Rifles, under the aegis of HQ 25 Sector AR/IGAR North, organized a free medical camp under AR-CAP at village Motongsa, Old Longchong, Changlang district, on Sunday. The medical camp was held in Motongsa, a remote and isolated location, with the goal of providing medical assistance to the villagers through screening, medication, and consultations.
The objective of the camp was to provide medical care, medical advice, and a reference for specialized treatment or surgery.
Apart from providing medical assistance, basic knowledge on health education, including precautions against common diseases, was also imparted. The medical team also elaborated on the significance of hygiene and sanitation to the villagers for better living standards. The camp was conducted for the villagers of Motongsa, New Longchong, and Old Longchong, where at least 34 women, 36 men, and 40 children have benefitted, according to a release.
