Silchar: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat reached here on Friday with a busy schedule for three-day of programme. Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will meet him. According to a Sangha source, Tripura CM Biplab Deb is also expected to join a conclave with Bhagwat. Besides being closeted with workers and activists of various Sangha outfits at Vivekananda Vidyalaya near this town, RSS Chief will address a meeting of the distinguished citizens and deliver his oration on a subject of national importance at Rajiv Bhawan.
On a concluding day, September 29, Mohan Bhagwat will remain busy with a day-long programme of meet and interaction with the nagar pramukhs and executive bodies’ members of different organizations and take stock of their works in their respective arenas. It will be a brain storming session, pointed out a senior worker of the Sangha.
The meeting between Mohan Bhagwat and Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday will be significant. According to informed source, the talk between them will centre around the NRC left-outs and how this human crisis can be tackled, keeping in mind the declared policy of BJP to give shelter and protection to the Hindus, the victims of partition and religious persecution. In the meantime, North East Linguistic and Ethnic Coordination Committee (NELECC) will also meet the Sarsanghchalak and impress on him the implementation of the twin notifications of September 7, 2015 issued by the Union Home Ministry. On Monday, Mohan Bhagwat will fly for Nagpur enroute Kolkata.
