Hailakandi DC Keerthi Jalli supervises NRC work

Hailakandi: Deputy Commissioner, Keerthi Jalli supervised the ongoing last phase of update of National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Hailakandi district on Friday. Jalli visited some NRC seva kendras to oversee the NRC hearings of the claims and objections and urged the officials involved to ensure smooth and hassle-free process. She also asked the officials to work round the clock to complete the process before the deadline. The NRC process has to be completed within the stipulated July 31 deadline set by the apex court.
