1st Bodoland International Paragliding concludes at Dangdufur Hills

Kokrajhar: Indonesia has taken all pride as four medals of the 1st Bodoland International Paragliding Accuracy Championship, 2019 held at Dangdufur Hills under Chakrashila Wildlife Sanctuary in Kokrajhar go to them with two gold’s, one silver and one bronze medal. The championship concluded on Thursday evening.

Indonesia’s Jafro Megawanto won the gold medal in the men’s category and Rika Wijayanti won the gold medal in women’s category while Ardiansyah Megaputra won the bronze medal in men’s and Gita Reky Yuanita Guntari won the silver medal in women’s category respectively.

Yong Wu of China won the silver medal in men’s category while Jinhee Back of Korea won the bronze medal in women’s category.

Deputy Chief of BTC Kampa Borgoyari, BTC Executive Member Doneswar Goyari, BTC Principal Secretary Biren Chandra Phukan handed over the cash prize and medals to the winners in a prize distribution ceremony held on Thursday evening.

It should be mentioned that altogether 68 pilots including women pilots from different countries like Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Nepal, China,Korea,Hong Kong and pilots from India were participated in the 1st Bodoland International Paragliding Championship which was held for the first time in Kokrajhar the headquarters of BTC.
