38th State level Taekwondo Championship meet begins at DTRP Stadium

GUWAHATI: 38th State level Taekwondo Championship got under way at the DTRP Stadium in the city today. Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Prodip Timung inaugurated the tournament where nearly 1300 players from various parts of the State are participating. Apart from Timung, the inaugural function was also attended by vice president of the Taekwondo Federation of India Hiranya Saikia, working president of the All Assam Taekwondo Association Diganta Borah, president of the All Assam Wrestling Association Ratul Sarma and others.
