All Assam Inter District Wushu Championship concludes

GUWAHATI: The XIX Sub-Junior (Boys and Girls) All Assam Inter District Wushu Championship concluded at the Wushu Training Hall at RG Baruah Sports complex here recently. Around 650 athletes participated in the Championship.

In the Sanda (Fighting) category Dhemaji won the top place with 7 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze. Sivasagar finished second with 4 Gold, 1 Silver and 7 Bronze medals. In the Taolu (Routine) category Dibrugarh won the top place (19 Gold, 5 Silver and 2 Bronze). Biswanath finished runners up (8 Gold, 5 Silver and 2 Bronze).
