Arunachal Pradesh bag top spot in North East Karate Championship

GUWAHATI: Arunachal Pradesh bagged best team award with 98 medals in the North East Karate Championship which concluded in the city last night. Host Assam (120 medals) although collected more number of medals then Arunachal Pradesh but had to satisfy with the second spot because of less number of gold. Arunachal Pradesh took 36 gold while the number of gold collected by Assam was 34. Meghalaya finished third with 49 medals.
