Arunachal Pradesh Sports &Youth Affairs Minister Mama Natung bats for two Khelo India centers

ITANAGAR: Arunachal Pradesh Sports &Youth Affairs Minister Mama Natung on Monday urged the centre to ensure timely setting up of two small Khelo India centers in each district of the state.

Attending the National Conference of Sports and Youth Affairs virtually which wasv chaired by Union Ports & Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Thakur, Natung urged him also to ensure setting up of Khelo India Center of Excellence at Sangey Lhaden Sports ' Academy here, an official communique informed.

Natung also referred to the immense sporting potential of Arunachal Pradesh.

The roadmap for making India a 'Top Sporting Nation' was discussed, including improving sports' infrastructure, identifying & nurturing budding talent and strengthening Schools' Games during the meeting, the communique added.
