ASEBSC To Clash OILFC In Bordoloi Trophy final

GUWAHATI: Assam State Electricity Board Sports Club (ASEBSC) set title clash with Oil India Limited Football Club in the 66th Bordoloi Trophy Football Championship which will be held at the Nehru stadium on October 2. ASEBSC moved into the final defeating FC Green Valley 3-2 in a well contested second semi final held at the Nehru stadium here today.

The first half was totally dominated by ASEBSC. The side took just six minutes to take 1-0 lead through Maneswar Mushahary. Super Division League champion was awarded a free kick on the top of the box and Maneswar beat the opponent goalkeeper with a nice shot. Jwmbla Brahma made it 2-0 in the 64th minutes.

FC green Valley came back strongly thereafter and returned both the goals through Victor Shadap and Micheal Lucky. Victor scored in 76th minutes and Lucky seven minutes later. However ASEBSC managed to get the winning goal within the schedule time and Jwmbla Brahma once again scored for his side a few minutes before the final whistle.
