Assam lose by five wickets in Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 cricket tournament

GUWAHATI: Assam lost to Madhya Pradesh by five wickets in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Cricket tournament tie held in Mumbai today. Chasing 102 runs to victory Madhya Pradesh reached the target in 16.3 overs losing five wickets. Abhilash Gogoi picked up 3 for24.

Earlier Assam, bat first, scored 101-8 in 20 overs. Except Pallab Kumar Das (33), Abdul Majid (14) and Wasiqur Rahman (26 no) no other batsmen were able to score double-digit runs in the game.
