Assam lose to Bengal in Senior Women T20 Cricket at Ranchi

GUWAHATI: Bengal beat Assam by 8 wickets in the Senior Women T20 Cricket at Ranchi today. Elected to bat, Assam scored 70-8 in their 20 overs. Gayatri Gurung (15) and Monikha Das (15) were the main contributors. In reply Bengal took 15.4 overs to reach the target losing two wickets. Opener Deepti and Mita Paul contributed 35 and 27 runs respectively. In their next league games Assam will now face Mumbai tomorrow.
