GUWHATAI: Assam may host another National Games by 2030. Announcing this in front of media persons on Tuesday Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed that he will send a letter to the concerned authority regarding this matter shortly.
"If we plan from today then the cost for organizing the National Games will be limited. Since the slots for National Games have been booked upto 2025, we can plan to organize the mega event between 2025 to 2030. As we have already organized this event in 2007, so the necessary infrastructures are exist here," he said.
"We have two high standard stadiums in Sarusajai and Amingaon. There will be another one in Chandrapur with good facilities. The upcoming stadium in Chandrapur will be specially-abled friendly which will boost our players to participate in para events in different levels,” he added.
