Assam Olympic Association felicitates sportspersons

Guwahati: Assam Olympic Association felicitated four sportspersons of the State who recently achieved incredible success in sports arena. The function was held at the AOA Conference Hall. The four sportsperson who were felicitated today were Abhinanda Goswami (taekwondo player), Sanma Brahma, Chiranjit Boro and Elvis Ali Hazarika. Abhinandan was selected in Indian squad for the forthcoming Deaflympic which is scheduled to be held in Brazil. Elvis recently returned into the city after successfully swimming Indo-Arabian Gateway Mumbai Circle. On the other hand Sanma Brahma and Chiranjit Boro brought medals from international competition- Moscow Wushu Stars Championship. Several top officials of the Assam Olympic Association including secretary Lakhya Konwar attended the function along with Political Secretary of the Chief Minister and MLA Jayanta Malla Baruah.
