Assam qualify for KO stage in 68th Senior National Volleyball Championship

GUWAHATI: Assam registered their fifth consecutive victory in the 68th Senior National Volleyball Championship and qualified for the knock out stage bagging the top spot at Bhubaneswar today. It was the first occasion when the Senior team became a group champion in a National Championship. In their last group league match, Assam faced West Bengal, dominated from the very beginnings and won the tie 25-13, 25-21 and 25-18. Assam will play their first knock out round match in the competition tomorrow.
