Guwahati: Assam Youth Olympics (AYO) entered into an exciting phase as disciplines like Archery, Tennis, Swimming and Football put some spectacular show with spirited performances on Day IV today.

At the medals tally Guwahati is maintaining the top position with an unassailable lead of 76 medals which included 21 Gold, 26 Silver and 29 Bronze. Kamrup have also maintained its second position with a total haul of 34 medals including 13 Gold, 8 Silver and 13 Bronze medals. Tinsukia with a haul of 18 medals are in third spot.

Results of today's event:

Football: In the boys final played at the Nehru Stadium Morigaon defeated Dhemaji by 3-1. Bivanjyoti Laskar of Morigaon scored 3 goals in 6th, 35th and 49th minutes respectively. Emmanuel Swargiary scored the only goal for Dhemaji at 12th minute. In the Girls final Dibrugarh beat Tinsukia by 3-2 to bag the gold medal. Sonam Dutta (2) and Angkita Mech scored for winner. Purnima Regon and Meena Kachari were the scorer for Tinsukia.

Archery: In the Recurve boys competition, Nisanta Sarma of Guwahati won gold while Devanga Gogoi of Sivsagar and Naishav Niyar Borah of Golaghat collected silver and bronze respectively. In the Recurve girls competition Hiramoni Halna of Dibrugarh bagged gold, Reshmin Abedin of Guwahati collected silver and Saniya Gam of Sivsagar won bronze. In the Recurve for Boys (70+70 meters), Devanga Gogoi of Sivsagar clinched gold, Nisanta Sharmah of Guwahati won silver and Nilotpal Sharma of Dibrugarh settled for a Bronze. In the Recurve for Girls (70+70 meters), Hiramoni Halna of Dibrugarh won the gold with a score of 555. While Swarjila Basumatary of Udalguri (523) to win the Silver and Reshmin Abedin of Guwahati scored 505 to settle for the Bronze. In the Compound for Boys (50+50 meters), Arnobjyoti Deka of Guwahati won gold, Kuldip Kumar of Guwahati and Mithisar Brahma of Guwahati bagged silver and bronze respectively. In the Compound for Girls (50+50 meters), Anjali Boro of Baksa won the gold, Madhuri Medhi of Guwahati won silver and Bornali Boro of Baksa collected bronze.

Rowing: In the Single Scull for Boys, Farhan Ali of Guwahati collected gold. Harshit Rajkonwar of Guwahati and Polash Lochan Nath of Guwahati won silver and bronze respectively. In the Single Scull for Girls, Debashmita Kashayp of Guwahati bagged gold and she was followed by Jessica Basumatary (silver) and Riya Baruah (bronze) of Guwahati.

Swimming: 800 Meters Freestyle: In the boys category, Sanskar Bhuyan of Jorhat won the gold, Sanjeevan Kumar Das of Kamrup bagged silver and Ilias Ahmed of Jorhat clinched bronze. In the girls category, Jahanabi Kashyap of Kamrup won gold, Darshita Baruah and Aarhi Goswami, both from Jorhat, bagged Silver and Bronze respectively.

Lawn Tennis: In the Boys Single Tennis, Jigyashman Hazarika won gold, Antariksh Tamuly and Debanga Protim Hazarika settled for silver and bronze respectively. In the Girls Singles, Tania Kumari of Guwahati won the gold while Namrata Das of Guwahati and Kaatyayini Vashisth settled for silver and bronze respectively.In the Boys Double final the gold was won by Manan Nath and Antariksh Tamuly. Kritanta Sarma of Guwahati and Anchit Gogoi of Golaghat won Silver while Jigyashman Hazarika and Arounesh Bora won the Bronze. In the Girls Doubles final, gold was won by Tania Kumari and Justina Borgohain Guwahati). Anshita Shukla of Guwahati and Nistha Priya Bezbaruah of Sivsagar won the silver. Namrata Das and Bisnupriya Borgohain, both from Guwahati, won bronze.
