GUWAHATI: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) U-16 team defeated Assam Cricket Association (ACA) by 157 runs in a 50-over match held at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara here today. Elected to bat BCB, rode on a nice ton from Abdullah (101, 117 balls, 4X12), scored 286 losing all wickets in 49.2 overs. While Bijoy Singh (73, 10X4, 6X2) also scored half-century for BCB, Eklavya Sharma, Pallab Chetia and Krishna Choudhury picked up 3 wickets each. Assam Cricket Associations bowled out 129 in 41.3 overs. Madhurjya Gogoi (36) and Prabal Kalita (28) were the major contributors. Among the BCB bowlers Saik Emtiyaz Sihab (3-22) came out with the best figure.
