City Cricket Club thrashed Ankurjyoti Club by 267 runs in Assam Premier Club Championship

GUWAHATI: City Cricket Club thrashed Ankurjyoti Club by 267 runs in the Assam Premier Club Championship match held at the Amingaon ground here today. Sibsankar Roy (122 from 111 balls) played a terrific knock and he got good support from Romario Sarma who scored 88. These two knocks helped City to register huge 302-5 (40 overs). Later Abhijit Singh Sidhu picked up seven wickets giving away only 9 runs which forced Ankurjyoti to complete their innings paltry 35 runs.
